The Calgary Tritons Swim Club is a competitive summer swim club that has been operating since 1971 and was incorporated in 1990.
We are a not-for-profit club run by volunteers and supported by membership and fundraising.
Our coaches are all NCCP certified and members of CSCTA, ACC and SNC.
We are a member of the ASSA, and through the ASSA are members of Swim Alberta and Swim Canada. ASSA has 59 clubs as members and is divided into 6 regions. The Tritons are in Region E, which covers teams in the Calgary area, as well as teams as far south as High River, as far west as Canmore, as far north as Didsbury and as far east as Didsbury. Region E has approximately 8 clubs and 590 swimmers.
The club operates from the beginning of May until mid August, when the season wraps up with Provincials. Through the season, our swimmers practice through the week and compete against other clubs in the region.
